Misc October 2013

*Written 7/14*

October is one of my favorite months of the year! It seems like we had a jam-packed one. Here are all the little things that happened between preschool performances and Halloween fun.

Colin started crawling up into this chair and sitting, kicking his legs!
He is getting so mobile it's crazy.

Sitting with his monkey.

So much for that!

At work I had the pleasure of meeting author Gail Carson Levine and
getting to help her while she signed autographs!

Colin found a new favorite place to sit and play.
IN his toy box!

Jane begged me to let her help clean the toilet.
Um, okay!!

Morning routine.

Jane and Colin sat on the couch sharing these fruit loops.
It was one of the first times they have sat and done something together.
Yay for siblings!

More gymnastics.

Cuddling in Mommy's bed.  They are getting this brother and sister thing down!

I snuck a picture in church when they were
being perfect angels.

Jane feeding Colin.
She has been so helpful this month!

A child of the digital age.

The LOVE AFFAIR with Cars begins!!

I couldn't decide between these two smiles.
My baby is soooo cute!

My tree becomes glorious in October for one
or two weeks before dumping all of them in the yard.

More playing in the toy box

This time joined by Jane!

Everything is funner with a friend.

The last few photos are of our yearly efforts to rake up the leaves in the yard.  Since we were going to spend so much time outside, I put Colin's first pair of shoes on!  He had never worn shoes before and it was pretty cute seeing him try to walk.  There is a video below.

Jane really chipped in this year!

Kitty was curious what we were up to.

Abba likes to observe from the sidelines.

Time to play in the big pile!

The next day we played some more!

Throwing the leaves up into the wind is so fun!

Here's some video of the kids playing in the leaves.

And a few other videos from October:

That's it!
