Misc November 2013

Here are some things that happened in November, 2013!

I came home from work one night to find these two asleep in the front room.
Typical.

Colin enjoying some PB&J

Morning "bottles."
These kids like their milk first thing.

Colin was thrilled to see this banana.

So he could try to eat it.

Jane continues her gymnastics classes and it is so fun to watch her learn and practice things!

Colin is just dying to crawl all over
the equipment someday
Too bad Mommy keeps him restrained
Little pointed toe

This is the first time she's ever done
these big bars. They usually use a single
bar for the little kids.

Breanne got 2nd place in a pie contest at work
With this baby.
I also got to meet author Marie Lu who is a rockstar.
It was a thrill!

Rocky did some snuggling

Colin loves to sit in boxes, especially toy boxes.
It's really cute when he and Jane play together.

Here are all the beautiful things Jane made in preschool this month:

Here is Colin having a super fun bath.  I have some darling videos of him playing and splashing, but I'm just going to save them on my computer because he is... you know.  In one of the videos I ask him, "Are you splashing?" and he says, "PLASH!!"  Anytime he can stick his hands in water and splash around he'll go, "ASH, ASH, ASH!!"

Jane got some sparkles on her cheeks

Look at his darling face.
I feel the need to explain that the
finish is flaking off of our bathtub and it makes it look dirty.

Where does the water come from?

Yummy mandarin oranges

Also, have I mentioned that Colin is quite the dancer?  Even before he could walk he would wiggle and wiggle when music came on, he loves it!  Of course now that he is walking he can really move when he wants to dance!  This short video shows him spinning to a song.  He doesn't let a little thing like falling down get in his way!

November was a good month.  On top of everything, Breanne participated in NaNoWriMo and wrote 50,000 words by November 29th!  It feels like a big accomplishment and I had fun and learned a lot.  We had a few days off around Thanksgiving and it was really nice for the four of us to spend time together!  Now we can't wait for Christmas.
